Grace House

Restorative Dentistry

crowns, bridges and dentures

Grace House understands that for many peope losing some, or even all of your teeth can be a stressful experience. Our highly trained restorative team will talk you through the options you have in order to transform your smile.

Dentures are a removable solution for the replacement of missing teeth. The process involves taking several impressions of the mouth, which are then cast into a mould. The dental laboratory then uses this mould to produce the denture. At Grace House we take great pride and consideration when discussing your options with you. There are many variations available for dentures, in terms of size and shade, and it is important that our patients are completely happy with the outcome. Through our extensive consultations you will be guided through the process and given the opportunity to assist in the choice of teeth and therefore the resulting appearance. Many people cast assumptions that dentures appear false; however, with careful planning, even full dentures can be made to look natural.

Another treatment that Grace House provides for missing teeth is a prosthesis known as a Bridge, which can be made from both porcelain bonded to metal, and ceramic. Unlike dentures, bridges are a fixed, non-removable solution for one or more missing teeth. Teeth adjacent to the space are used to anchor the bridge to help restore function as well as appearance.

Oversized fillings or fractures often cause teeth to become at risk of breaking, this can affect both anterior and posterior teeth. Those teeth that have broken or are at high risk of breaking can be restored using Crowns. Crowns are a restorative procedure that reproduces the surface atonomy of the natural crown of the patients tooth. These prothesis can be constructed using various materials, such as porcelain bonded to metal, ceramic, and even gold.
